Had an appointment with my daughter today and we went to Florida lake to go feed the ducks. Decided to entertain her with my super advanced Put-Put skills while were at it. She shows a definate talent. I scored a hole-in-one on the 19th and got me a free game for somewhere in the future. Then we just walked and talked and that is when it happened.....

I noticed a dark chap in brown pants and sweater acting very friendly with a (I would guess 15-16 year old) girl. I was about to frown my disapproval when she handed him money and in return received a "packet"

This happened about 15 times while the 5 minutes I was there. i only saw white kids, and the eldest was maybe 20 years old.

This drug dealer is doing good business in broad daylight, without trying to even be subtle.

This is just the type of thing that would make me start drinking again!

I've also stopped. haven't had a drop since 9pm yesterday.

House is my new hero, and I think thus far it works for me. Also, vicodin prevents me from looking all chubby and fluffy and generally kak like Walla.

Perks, jokes aside. Today was a serious eye opener. This is a problem that is very real and it seems that the dealers are very arrogant about it.
The kids I saw made me realise that it could be my kid. They are just kids, and these blokes are ruining their lives. I wished I could stroll over there and moer the the living daylights out of the dealer, but you are right. He will just be replaced by another Nigerian/Zimbabwean who is desperately trying to survive. It's the higher ups that needs to be stopped.

Why blame the dealers? Just out of interest. Is it sort of like blaming movies and playstation for kid's problems?
