12 year old going 8's on a Bike
Not sure if I would let my kid do this - I think one needs a lot of experience before jumping onto an 8sec bike. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Terr ... 7a012b79da

I can see the dynamics behind that one... At 12 the kiddie is fearless, which in turn makes him push further/harder without thinking about the consequences, which makes him faster on the reaction time etc. Would I let my lighty do it or condone it... err, nope

I don't underestimate the skill and experience a kid can gain by age 12, I've had my backside handed to me too many times by a knee high kid to do that. I'm not so sure I would stick my kid on a missile though.

There were some youngsters here running good times on bikes but a few people were concerned as if summin went wrong they didn't have the knowhow to get out of the shit. Drag Commission held a meeting and it was decided to put age limits on riders and drivers. Can't remember what it is though.
